Beginning with the '20-'21 school year, Gmail is the recommended email app for all district iPads. Once the app is installed (automatically for K-2, through the App Catalog for 3-5), it can be setup as follows:
1. Open the Gmail app and tap "Sign in" at the bottom
Note: If you've already signed into any of the Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides apps, you'll be able to quickly add your account, otherwise read on if you haven't signed in already.
2. Tap Add Another Account if prompted
3. Tap Google
4. Tap Continue
5. Enter your email username
6. Enter your email password
7. Tap done
8. You should see your email now
