Beginning with the '20-'21 school year, Gmail is the recommended Mail app for all district iPads. Once the app is installed (automatically for K-2, through the App Catalog for 3-5), it can be setup as follows:
1. Open the Gmail app and tap "Sign in" at the bottom
Note: If you've already signed into any of the Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides apps, you'll be able to quickly add your account, otherwise read on if you haven't signed in already.
2. Tap "Google" , then "Continue" and enter your full district email address, tapping "Next" when done
3. Enter your email password and tap "Next" when done
That's it, you should now be able to send and receive email from your iPad!
